The partner behind Better Data. Referral partners earn the greater of $50,000 or 6% of each participating organization’s payment.

A buyer that pays for what you already keep.

Better Data turns years of ordinary operating records into a written offer from a vetted data partner. Email, documents, chat, calls, CRM and billing — the history every company has and almost none has ever been paid for. You keep every original, every system and every password.

Real offers, built from your records.

Value is set by what you actually have: years of history, number of staff, record volume and ownership. The calculator below shows the range; the partner writes the number.

Right data. Right buyer.

One partner, one agreement, one use: AI research and training on de-identified business language. No resale, no marketing lists, no surprises.

Every original stays.

A filtered copy is prepared inside your scope. Names, contacts, account numbers and anything personal are removed before anyone reads a line.

Numbers that read your business.

Two sliders, one range. Most companies land between $100K and $1M; larger teams with a decade of records run into the millions.

What data counts

Six kinds of everyday records. Years of them.

How it's handled

Four stages. You approve every one.

Nothing leaves your systems until the scope is signed. Nothing is used until identities are gone. Nothing you own is given up.

  1. Stage 1

    Scope

Systems, date ranges, exclusions, value and terms are written down and signed.

  2. Stage 2

    Export

Your team signs in to the approved systems. No passwords are shared. The agreed copy is exported.

  3. Stage 3

    Filter & transform

Sensitive material is removed; names, contacts, account IDs and voices are transformed.

  4. Stage 4

    Deliver & pay

The filtered copy is delivered to research. You are paid under the agreed terms.

Questions

Good to know.

What is a data partnership?

Our data partner buys an agreed, de-identified copy of records your company owns, for AI research and training. Better Data is how Better Business introduces you, walks you through it and keeps a Better Professional in your corner.

Who fits best?

Companies and nonprofits with several years of records they own and teams based mostly in the United States. Typical thresholds are 20+ full-time office staff, 10+ for accounting firms and 6+ for law firms.

Do we give up ownership of our data?

No. You keep every original and every system. The partner buys the filtered copy, and the written agreement sets its scope and any exclusivity.

Can we choose which systems and dates are included?

Yes. The scope is agreed with you and reviewed before anything is exported. You can exclude mailboxes, channels, folders, date ranges or whole systems.

Do we have to change how we operate?

No. Nothing about your tools, workflows or accounts changes, and nobody on your team has to do anything differently.

How is sensitive information handled?

Sensitive material is removed, and identifiers such as names, contact details, account numbers and voices are removed or transformed before the copy is used. Bank, card and tax numbers never leave.

Do AI developers see our unfiltered records?

No. Only the filtered, de-identified copy.

Will our records be made public?

Source records are not published, and no reports about your company are sold.

How is the offer decided?

The calculator is illustrative. The written offer follows a review of your systems, years of history, record volume and quality, and ownership and access terms.

How and when are we paid?

Payment amount and schedule are set in the written agreement before any export. There is no broker fee, and nothing is owed to Better Business by you.

How long does it take?

About twelve weeks from the first conversation to payment, depending on scope, rights review, contracting and export.

What does Better Business get?

A referral fee from our data partner when a partnership closes. It never comes out of your payout.
